For our first dive, we are going to do a drift dive outside the border of Buck Island National Park. Each diver or buddy team must have a safety sausage. This is an “exploratory” dive meaning, there is no mooring to start the dive just a GPS location. This is basically virgin diving. Our second dive will be #1 bouy.
Cost is $25/CRABBS members. Call Dive Experience to sign up. 773-3307.

Sea wasp - Carybdea alata photographed by John Graff
Sea Wasp jelly fish, Carybdea alata, were sighted near Northstar Sunday, May 16 during the lion fish dive. Divers, snorkelers and swimmers need to be aware of this potential hazard. A sting from one of these jellyfish is extremely painful and in some cases can be life threatening.
